Tiny- Nice reviews. You do have an interesting and fun opinion of some of my favorites. Glad Rebirth gave you a good birthday… they were my wedding reception “band”– shared the day with Kermit Ruffins at French Quarter Fest three years ago.
If your music budget allows you, check out the FQF next year (always the second weekend of April)
Thanks for writing!
Thank you so much 🙂 Is this the Dr. who helped me at RTR?
Hey there Tiny,
Wanted to thank you for posting our Living Room residency on your site and also wanted to let you know that those are free shows every Tuesday, not $8….even better 🙂
Thanks for supporting live music!
Carrie
Caravan of Thieves

Hello Doug! I LOOOOVE Mountain Jam! One of my favorite festival venues! This year’s lineup is looking particularly enticing. We will definitely be covering it again this year 🙂 Hope to meet you!
did you go on jam cruise? is there a review coming? if you remember enough to write a review, you weren’t on jam cruise!! i think i may have seen you there
I certainly did and I have been working on my review amongst training interns at work, moving into my new apartment and seeing music to sustain my addiction. The Jam Cruise articles will come out slowly 🙂
Hey Tiny Rager!
I just bought my Wanee ticket. Super stoked!
Please tell me I get to camp with my favorite minature music lover!
Dave
Hey Karen, your website is fantastic!
I met you at “A Night in Treme” at the Howlin’ Wolf during Jazz fest, as the good vibes were flowing from Wolfman, Dumpstaphunk, Rebirth, and company. Your spirit was pure positivity, and your depth of knowledge in the music scene was most impressive. So of course I had to check out the website! Keep up the good work, and keep searching for new sounds. Laissez les bon temps roullez!
Gabe!! How wonderful! So glad you found me. Let me know if you are ever in NYC! We always got stuff going on!!!
mind = blown. hope all is well. happy that we got to meet. i hope next time is not so far away. have a happy day! 🙂
Bleezy!! So wonderful meeting you too. It was quite a wonderful weekend as well. Barefoot For Life!
May The Mantras quote you? 🙂
Anytime. Where? 🙂
Great, fun-spirited writing. I appreciate the photo/video stuff, too, as it seems we have some musical tastes in common.
Keep it up!
hey there, nice post on Camp barefoot! and thanks for the tag- Im one of the live artists from Camp barefoot- I laughed when I read your post and I think you VIP people were in the way of the LIve artists actually. …..
Live artists pay hundreds of dollars for the right to paint in that section? Because that’s what those people paid to be there.
Aloha Tiny Rager, the name of the Italian restaurant Soulive performed days into the new year of 2003…in Makawao…Maui is/was Casanova. What a great (2) shows the band played! Thanks for including mention of this in your postings, as it was googleable for me here in SE Asia under “Soulive Maui”…so many mahalos for that…glad you’re rockin’ after all these years!
Producer of “1st Annual” and only ever, Soulive Maui Adventure w/ DJ Logic,
ah, the memories
So Sad about Jeff Austin! A great bluegrass musician! We will miss you Jeff. R.I.P. Ps. Please use my photos of Jeff from Mt. JAM.
